Hargreaves Lansdown selects Axis Security to protect new Bristol Headquarters

Axis Security, one of the UK's fastest growing providers of integrated security solutions, has been selected to protect the new Bristol headquarters of independent financial service provider Hargreaves Lansdown.
The five-storey flagship office, located in the heart of Bristol city centre, opened in February. It is occupied by approximately 600 staff who relocated from several smaller offices across the city. To keep the building secure, Hargreaves Lansdown appointed Axis Security to provide manned guarding services around the clock. 

“We considered various options for the safety and security of the building and our staff, but decided a manned guarding solution would be the most effective way to protect our assets,” explains Building Manager, Alex Gabb.

Axis Security officers patrol the building 24/7, alongside fulfilling front of house duties, monitoring the building’s CCTV system and controlling access to the underground car park.

The relationship first began in November 2009, when Axis Security was awarded a contract to provide security services during the final fit out of the building, across a three-month period. After this successful initial trial period, the contract was extended.
