Axis inaugural christmas function
On Wednesday, 3rd December 2008, Axis Security held their inaugural Christmas function in the Mountbatten Room at the magnificent RAC Club. Over 100 guests enjoyed the proceedings which celebrated not only the festive season but also the first year under new Managing Director Jonathan Levine’s stewardship.
The event got underway with a rousing address from Jonathan during which he looked back at the year’s success stories (company re-branding, introduction of greater staff benefits, considerable new business growth, gaining ISO 9001 accreditation, successful ACS re-audit, etc.) and also looked forward to what will undoubtedly be a demanding and tough 2009.
A fine lunch was followed by Axis Security charity donations presented by David Mundell, Sales Director. The Axis charity of choice for 2008 was the City of London Crime Prevention Association and our donation was kindly accepted by the Association’s Chairman, Don Randall M.B.E. A draw for the guest charity was then undertaken with the successful charity being The Asian Foundation For Philanthropy.
John Fitzpatrick, Operations Director was next up to present the coveted ‘Security Team’ and ‘Security Officer’ of 2008 awards. This year ‘Security Team of the Year’ was collected by Steve Kendall on behalf of his own team at Discovery Network EMEA and the ‘Security Officer of the Year’ was collected by Bill Hall for his sterling work at the Refugee Council.
The exceptional lunch was closed with a thoroughly enjoyable and amusing post-luncheon speech by the former Conservative Member of Parliament for Chester and Countdown boffin Gyles Brandreth.
Axis Security would again like to thank all of their clients and employees for their continued support. To read more about this event click here.
